The twists and turns of an otherwise planned career often lead back to the place where it began. From the first time I thought about a career, I wanted to be a writer. Yes, I have worked as a writing instructor at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, and as the editor for two magazines. But my path also took me through Ford Motor, General Motors, and the Department of Defense. During those years I wrote reports, memos, speeches, RFPs, marketing and all the rest. So, having written my way through varied jobs and topics, I'll apply what I've learned as a dedicated freelance writer and editor.
